Cancellation Policy

Schedules change. The terms below explain how to cancel or reschedule a discovery call, a standing session, or a consulting engagement.

1. Cancelling a Discovery Call

Discovery calls are 30-minute video conversations offered at no charge. You may cancel or reschedule a discovery call at any time, for any reason, at no cost. To cancel, simply reply to your confirmation email or write to [email protected]. We ask, as a courtesy, that you give as much advance notice as you reasonably can so the time can be offered to another owner.

2. Cancelling a Standing Session

Once an engagement begins, individual standing sessions may be rescheduled by emailing us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may, at our discretion, count against the engagement’s session allotment for that period. Repeated last-minute cancellations may, at our discretion, lead us to pause or end the engagement.

3. Cancelling a Consulting Engagement

Each consulting engagement is governed by a written engagement agreement signed by both parties. To cancel an active engagement, you must provide written notice (email is acceptable) to [email protected]. Unless your engagement agreement specifies otherwise:

• The notice period for cancelling a recurring engagement is fourteen (14) calendar days.
• Fees for work already performed during the notice period remain due.
• Future fees that have not yet been earned will not be charged or, if pre-paid, will be pro-rated and refunded under our Refund Policy.

4. Cancellations Initiated by Us

We reserve the right to end a discovery call, session, or engagement at any time, with or without cause, where doing so is reasonable in our professional judgment — for example, where there is a misalignment of scope, a breakdown in communication, conduct inconsistent with our Acceptable Use Policy, or any reason that, in our view, would compromise the quality of the work. In that event, we will refund any pre-paid amounts for work that has not yet been performed, in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, government action, internet or platform outages, or other comparable circumstances. We will reschedule any session affected by such an event without penalty.
