This page explains, in plain terms, when a consulting relationship with Thomas & Company Consulting is formed and when it is not.
The following actions, on their own, do not create a consulting relationship and do not obligate either party to anything beyond the general use of this Site:
A consulting relationship between you (or your company) and Thomas & Company Consulting exists only after a written engagement agreement, signed by both parties, that defines:
Until that engagement agreement is signed and the first payment (if any) has been made, no work has been authorized and we have no professional obligations to you or your business.
Information you choose to share with us during a discovery call, in a contact form, or through the Readiness Assessment is treated with discretion and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, no attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, or comparable privileged relationship is formed by sharing that information; the appropriate framework is one of professional discretion, not legal privilege.
Anything written on this Site, said during a discovery call, or stated in informal communication should be treated as general business information — not as advice tailored to your specific circumstances. Specific recommendations are made only inside an active, paid engagement, where the work is informed by your particular facts.
Questions about engagement may be sent to [email protected].
